Having been a Church Ushering Coordinator, Events Organizer and professionally as an Environmental Health Safety and Security Expert I have developed a great Interest and Passion of Equipping Church Ushers with Knowledge that will help them serve with Excellence. An Usher is a Spiritual Ambassador for the local Church. Ushers serves as a ‘First representative’ of Jesus Christ for a worship service. They are instruments of orderliness in the place of worship. The performance and conduct of ushers can make or break the outcome of the church service.
Ushers are a tremendous force in setting the tone for worship and they play a big role in helping to Prepare the people to hear and respond to the word of God. The Usher, being an extension of the Pastor must have a big heart. A heart large enough to welcome, accommodate and help shape the worst of men as they come in to become the saints of God. The Art of Effective Church Ushering book which I’ve authored is a detailed manual for Church Ushering with many guidelines on the best practices on Ushering. The Training targets Church Ushers, Security, Protocol, Sanctuary keepers, Hospitality and Catering members equipping them to serve with Knowledge, Understanding, Wisdom, Passion, Love, Revelation, Right Attitude and Spirit of Excellence.
