As an Ambassador Of Safety my Mission is to help build a culture of Safety by Equipping People with skills and knowledge that helps them Prevent, Prepare for and Respond to Emergencies in a manner that is Safe, Prompt and Effective as well as Provide Appropriate and Quality Safety Equipment to them. A culture of Safety is a value that I live for and if need be can die for.
Since 2016 I have been organizing free Road Safety Campaigns – #AmbSteveMbuguaRoadSafetyCampaign – where I go round training riders, cyclists, drivers, passengers, pedestrians and other road users on a road safety culture. I also visit different regions and use different media stations to train the community on First Aid and Safety for free as well as speak in different Forums, Workshops, Seminars, Conferences, Retreats, Meetings, in Institutions and Events as a Safety Champion and Ambassador Of Safety.
I believe Safety should not be observed in the eyes of compliance to rules and regulations but best personal practices and good habits just like hygiene and good manners. I encourage people to take Safety as a Personal and Collective Responsibility.
