Can God Trust You?

God can’t trust some of us because if He gave us too much to us we might think it’s for us. God will always give to giving people because He can trust them. He will give you even things that are not for you because He can trust you. Some of us are good people but cannot be trusted to be generous.

God can trust a generous heart with wealth. He knows those who freely give can have money without money having them.

To be a person God can trust with wealth, you will be a person who puts God first place, even in abundance.

God’s will for you is prosperity in every area of your life—and that includes wealth. But knowing the great dangers of money without godly stewardship, He doesn’t give it to anyone and everyone. You have to be a candidate for increase.

The reason God gives you money, wealth, privileged. resources, talent, fame etc is that He can use it through you for His kingdom. There is a lot of prayers from people out there that are to be answered through the wealth God Has given you. There are Churches He want to build, widows and orphans to be taken care of by Him through you as a channel and so you must be ready to be a faithful steward.

Deutronomy 8:18(AMPC)

But you shall [earnestly] remember the Lord your God, for it is He Who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.

The first step to becoming a candidate for increase—someone God can trust with wealth—is to see yourself as a steward, not an owner of the money you have. As you acknowledge that the Lord is the One who gives you the power to become rich, you keep yourself in a posture of humility and allow God to direct your decisions. It keeps you free from toiling, free from worry and free from temptations. It will keep you prospering!

When money comes into a person’s life, if they don’t maintain a place of humility, then that money will start to control them, and they will not be led by the Spirit.

The Bible is clear—whether wealth is good or bad depends on who has the money. If not handled in a godly manner, money is dangerous. But there is nothing wrong with having enough money to live debt free, live blessed, support your church, spread the gospel and minister to the poor. That’s THE BLESSING!

Proverbs 11:24 One person gives freely, yet gains more; another withholds what is right, only to become poor.

You may have noticed that those who hang onto money the tightest seem to be the ones who always need it the most. On the other hand, learning to give freely to the Lord is the gem of tithing and a great enlightenment of mercy. It gets you out of poverty and over into God’s system of blessing.

I remember when I was pursuing my undergraduate and going through a lot of financial constraints, one time I got some few days manual work and almost all the amount I raised I went and purchased 10 plastic seats for our local church. It was painful just spending that money not sorting my issues but for the kingdom of God. Within weeks, God sent someone to pay my school fees and also  got a double CDF bursary funds. I was paid back handsomely.

When you’re known for your generosity, you have a critical trait God is looking for in those He can trust with wealth.

God can trust a generous heart with wealth. He knows those who freely give can have money without money having them. But a hoarder will not receive a blessing because there is no seed to bless—no crop to reap.

Money and wealth can not give you happiness. True happiness, peace, joy and love come from God alone.

To be a person God can trust with wealth, you will be a person who puts God first place, even in abundance.

God can trust those who have generous hearts with great wealth. Can He trust you?

Can God trust you with beauty and intelligence? Everything God Has given you is not yours but His For His Glory. In most cases, those who have been entrusted with beauty have used it to sly and for worldly purposes. Those given brilliance, intelligence and wisdom have misused it for the long purpose. That beauty should be used in ministry(welfare, ushering, praise and worship etc). That intelligence should be used for outreach, discipleship, teaching of the word and encouraging the brethren. You are not of your own, nothing you have is meant for personal gratification but kingdom purposes. Have you used the beauty, physique, intelligence, education, energy and resources the Lord Has given you for the right purpose?
